How the benefit works
This supplemental coverage pays you, not the provider, for a covered hospital stay. You decide how to use the money. It supplements medical coverage and does not replace it.
Benefits for a covered hospital stay

When benefits apply
The covered hospital, critical care or rehabilitation stay must occur on or after your coverage effective date. Combination limits apply. Your certificate and riders govern benefit definitions, exclusions and limitations.
